COMMUNICATION WITH EXTERNAL

MANAGEMENT/CONTROL SYSTEMS

To establish a connection between a PC and the UPS, connect the PC to the UPS

unit's RS232 interface. The USB communication interface and the management card

are optional equipment with which communication can be established.

The UPS can be managed from external systems (PCs, servers) via free of charge

software.

The software can be used to monitor and configure the UPS unit's parameters and to

manage it. Together with the UPS it creates a safe and reliable protection against

mains interruptions, which guarantees that the powered systems can work without

interruptions.

The up-to-date software and the installation procedure are available at

www.ever.eu.

COMMUNICATION THROUGH RS232 OR USB

By standard, an RS232 communication interface is available for the user. The USB

interface is optional (available together with the parallel operation card). To ensure

correct operation with the PC, the software will prompt the user when to connect the

communication cable during the installation process.

CAUTION!

Only one connection can be used at a time.
