INSTALLATION

CAUTION!

Before installing the UPS the user must read the safety

precautions covered in this document and the general OHS regulations.

ELECTRIC INSTALLATION IN THE BUILDING

The electric installation should be made according to installation guidelines for the

specific type of the UPS. The guidelines are specified in a separate document

supplied with the product.

CAUTION!

The UPS batteries reach full efficiency after around one

month of operation in mains mode.

UNPACKING THE PRODUCT

Inspect the UPS visually after receiving it. Despite the packaging, the device may be

damaged due to improper transport conditions. If any damage is identified, inform the

carrier or the vendor, take pictures of the damage and draw up a protocol.

CAUTION!

Given the method of packaging the product, pay special

attention when unpacking it. A falling device may pose a risk to health or

life.

CAUTION!

The device may be delivered with batteries already installed.

The UPS is packaged in a way that ensures safe transport (also with a forklift truck).

Ton unpack the device cut the tape securing the entire package to the pallet. Next,

slide the cardboard box up and remove the protective corners.

If the device is delivered with batteries, take into account the device's heavy weight

(see the technical parameters table). The device can be lifted from the pallet with e.g.

belts and a lifting device.

If the device is delivered without batteries installed, it can be removed from the pallet

with a lifting device. If the device is removed from the pallet by hand, the operation

should be performed by at least four technicians.
