CONFIGURATION SOFTWARE
IRtec Rayomatic 40
thermometers can be connected to a PC by using the Windows
TM
,
Rayomatic Control
Panel
software package. By the software it is possible to set the mathematical function parameters, the alarms,
the emissivity, and the temperature measuring range. To use the software you need to connect the PC to the unit
using the SMART/RS232 adapter (cat.
BB530200
).

Load configuration from thermometer.
Save configuration on thermometer.
Run monitor.

Load configuration
Connect the SMART/RS232 adapter to the “COM1” PC serial port.
Connect the SMART/RS232 adapter to the thermometer. Pay attention to the polarity. Refers to the previous
chapter for connection scheme.
Run the Configuration software.
Select from the control panel the model of your Irtec Rayomatic 40 and the PC communication port.
press the key to load the configuration data from the thermometer and to display them on the PC.

Change the configuration
Modify the emissivity and the current output range from the panel.
