MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT
: Before carrying out any maintenance operation make sure the machine is not and cannot be accidentally
or inadvertently powered . It is therefore necessary to disconnect the power supply whenever maintenance is carried out .
• It is the customer's duty to carry out all the maintenance operations on the heat pump.
• Only previously trained and qualified personnel may perform maintenance operations .
• If the unit has to be disassembled, protect hands with gloves .
This maintenance operation must be carried out with the hot
water tank empty .
To protect the hot water tank against corrosion, the
magnesium anode must be checked once a year, replacing
it if worn .
The front panel must be removed by undoing the four
screws (A fig .1) .
After removing the panel, remove the anode protection
cover indicated by the label ANODE . Remove the four cover
screws (B fig .1) .
Unscrew the hex head of the magnesium anode .
Pull it out, check and if necessary (decreased by half size)
replace . Retighten the hex head of the anode .
Close the protection cover and front panel .
Fill and restore the pressure of the domestic water circuit .
Make sure to check the safety valve at least twice a year .
To do this check, lift the valve lever (1 fig 2) (be careful
because it is as hot as the water inside the tank) .
Run the water coming out the valve into a drain through
a pipe
