PREFACE

Use of the manual 

 

This manual is intended as a reference work to enable professional, trained, 
authorised users to safely operate, service and repair the product shown on 
the front of this document. The figures referred to in the text can be found at 
the back of the manual. 

Pictograms and symbols

 

The following pictograms and symbols are used in this manual and on the 
product.

WARNING

Risk of electric shock. 

CAUTION

After switching off the motor, wait for the fan to stop before 
removing the filters. 
Tips and advice for carrying out the respective work or activity 
more easily. 

WARNING

Procedures which, if not carried out with the necessary caution, 
can result in serious damage to the product or personal injury. 

WARNING

Fire hazard! Never use the product for the extraction of 
inflammable, glowing or burning particles, substances or 
liquids. Never use the product for the extraction and/or 
filtration of aggressive vapours (such as hydrochloric acid) or 
sharp particles. 

Service and maintenance 

For information on specific settings and maintenance or repair work falling 
outside the scope of this manual, please contact the supplier of the product. 
He will always be happy to help you. Ensure that you have the following data 
available: product name and serial number. 

These data can be found on the identification plate.

IDENTIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT

The identification plate (fig. 1) contains the following data: :
A   serial number 
B   product name 
C   power rating 
D   connection voltage and frequency

General

The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injury resulting from a 
failure to strictly adhere to the safety precautions and instructions in this 
manual or carelessness during installation, use, maintenance and repair of 
the product specified on the cover of this document and any associated 
accessories. Additional safety instructions may be required depending on 
the specific working conditions or accessories used. Please contact your 
supplier immediately if you have noticed a potential danger during use of 
the product. 

The user of the product is solely responsible at all times for compliance with 
the locally applicable safety instructions and regulations. Therefore, follow all 
applicable safety precautions and regulations.

User manual 

• 

Every person working on or with the product must be familiar with the 
contents of this manual and must strictly observe the instructions 
contained at all times. The company management must instruct the 
personnel using the manual and ensure that all instructions and 
regulations are observed. 

• 

Never change the sequence of the operations to be carried out. 

• 

Keep the manual in the vicinity of the product at all times.

Users

• 

Only trained and authorised persons may use the product. Temporary 
workers and persons undergoing training may only use the product 
under the supervision and responsibility of qualified users. 

• 

The device is not intended for use by people (including children) with  
a physical, sensory or mental handicap or who lack the necessary 
knowledge and experience, unless they are supervised or have been 
instructed in the use of the device by a person who is responsible for 
their safety. 

• 

Always supervise children to prevent them from playing with  
the device. 

Intended use

The product is designed exclusively for the extraction and/or filtering of dust 
generated by the most common industrial processes. Any use that differs 
from or goes beyond the stated intended purpose is considered misuse. The 
manufacturer accepts no liability for any resulting damage or injury. The 
product conforms to the applicable standards and directives. Only use the 
product in perfect technical condition, in accordance with the purpose 
described above.

Safety equipment 

• 

All safety equipment must be correctly installed and may only be 
removed for maintenance and repair work by qualified and authorised 
service technicians. 

• 

The product must never be used if the safety equipment is not 
complete or not present, or if it is or has been deactivated. 

• 

The safety equipment must be inspected for proper function at regular 
intervals and immediately repaired, if necessary. 

Modifications 

• 

Modification of the air cleaner or any part thereof is not permitted.
