8.3 Maintenance and cleaning tasks
The maintenance and cleaning tasks are detailed in the following.
Filling the system with distilled water
Turn off the device if it is anticipated that the device will not be used
for an extended time (e.g. overnight). In this case the liquid system is
filled with distilled water in order to prevent salt deposits. This
significantly increases the service life of the valves and pumps.

8.3.1 Cleaning of the liquid system
Regular cleaning of the liquid system is necessary to remove any
biological deposits in the hoses, pumps, etc.

The following instructions describe the cleaning of the liquid system
step-by-step.
ATTENTION
DAMAGE FROM CLEANING AGENTS
The liquid system can be damaged by overly long exposure to the
cleaning agent, the wrong concentration or the use of an incorrect
cleaning agent.

Always comply with the exposure times.

Use only SETUP CLEAN (1:5).
You will require two containers with SETUP CLEAN (1:5).
