4.2  Device overview 

 

 

Number  Description 

 

Wash basin cover 

 

On/Off switch  
The On/Off switch switches the device to the operating state or idle state. 

 

Touch display 
The device is operated via the touch display. 

 

Wash basin 
The wash basin is for washing the slides. Depending on the device model, one 50-field or up to 
five 10-field Titerplane slides can be placed on the wash basin in a slide carrier. An integrated 
sensor detects whether a slide carrier is on the wash basin or not. Among other things, this starts 
the rinsing process automatically.
