3.1 How to read Key Code as Binary BCD8421
The way to read Key Code as Binary BCD8421 is to read the value from Converter ‚O/P BCD Key Code‛.
Signals of Convertor are changed according to status of operation as follows;

Initial Status (Default)
= When Power-ON, status at Connector O/P BCD Key Code is set as follows;
PIN SHIF# = 1 ; PIN T#/R = 1
PIN8 = 0 ; PIN4 = 0 ; PIN2 = 0 ; PIN1 = 0
Figure 3.1 shows the Initial Status (Default) at Pins of Connector 8 Pin.
