13.4.8 General information

13.5 Inputs / Outputs
This option provides potential-free inputs and outputs for control tasks and displays. This is the prerequisite for the options
in the following chapters 13.6 to 13.11.
13.6 Shutdown for electric screwdrivers
For the supply of an electric screwdriver is a Schuko socket available. 110V / 230V 16A max.
13.7 Shutdown of hydraulic unit
For the control of a hydraulic unit is a 7-pin. Plug available.
Pin assignment of the plug: pin 5 NC; Pin 6 normally open; Pin 7 root; Maximum contact load: 60V AC-DC 1A.
13.8 OK output
Should the torque and, if necessary, the angle be within the programmed limits (total OK), a relay is operated. A floating
make contact is available at pins 13 and 25 on the 25-pin IN/OUT socket (see Sec. 15). It can be loaded with maximum 1
Ampere at 25 V AC / 30 V DC. It is not a heavy-duty relay!
It is however suited for controlling a programmable controller or a contactor.
13.9 NOK output
This output signals an NOK screwing under the following conditions:
1.)
At least one limit window (torque / angle) has been programmed.
2.)
The measured value must be stored: either with "erasure time", "RS 232" or "manual".
The "RS 232" function can be used when the NOK output is required, however without saving the values. In this case
no printer should be connected.
3.)
The torque or possibly the angle lies outside the programmed limits.
4.)
The erasure time has elapsed.
The relay contact is closed at the end of the deletion time with a NIO screw connection. At the same time, the query "Save
yes / no" is displayed. After the acknowledgment the contact is opened again. The electrical characteristics are described in
the previous chapter.
13.10 Analog output
The analog torque signal is available with this option at pin 11 on the 25-pin IN/OUT socket so that the torque can also be
evaluated on external equipment such as characteristic curve plotters, storage oscilloscopes and so forth. The reference
potential is GND at pin 5. Ensure that no ground loops are formed as this ground is not electrically isolated from the unit.
The output can be loaded with maximum 5 mA. It is not protected against overvoltages.
The analog output is only scaled to ±5 V when the overload range is set to “7%” (standard). However, it is then
independent of the input and from the input sensitivity!
When the GMV2-K is zeroadjusted, the output signal is zeroed!
Peak storage is not performed.
