6•6 STARTING/STOPPING THE HONDA GX MOTOR (QUICK GUIDE)
Read the manufacturer’s instructions for use
DANGER!
Never allow the engine to run in enclosed or narrow spaces. The exhaust gases contain toxic carbon monoxide. Make
sure the scarifier is properly coupled to the drive machine. The blade drive must be shut off.
IMPORTANT!
Before starting the engine, check that the engine sump is sufficiently filled with oil. The scarifier is delivered wit

hout oil for transport reasons.

IMPORTANT!
When the engine is hot, the throttle lever must be moved from the choke position. The choke must not be used
when the engine is hot or when the air temperature is high.
1) Place the engine speed le-
ver on:
= slow speed
= fast speed
6• PUTTING INTO SERVICE
1) When the side lever is pressed, the clutch lift stop
device is freed.
2) Blade drive active
1) Place the engine speed
lever on .
2) Turn the switch ON.
3) Bring the choke into posi-
tion. Open the fuel valve.
4) Pull the starter cable. Stay
behind the handle and out
of the danger zone.
