The work depth is set so that the blades only go 3 to 5 millimetres into the soil without damaging the grass roots.
6•4 WORKING POSITION
IMPORTANT!
Do not start the machine on a hard floor, e.g. stone or concrete, but only on the lawn surface. You may break the
blades and be injured. To protect the blades, always place the machine in the raised position after scarifying.
6• PUTTING INTO SERVICE
3) The scarifying depth is set by turning the adjusting
screw
4) Turn clockwise (+) to raise the blades, anticlockwise
(-) to lower the blades.
5) Tighten the lock nut while maintaining the adjusting
screw

When the lifting lever is pulled, the scarifier is lowers
to working position.
2) When the lifting lever is pushed to its initial position,
the scarifier is raised.
