Using 6 km/h mode
6 km/h mode will provide assistance when pushing (walking along with) the electric
mountain bicycle. This symbol (Fig. 34) will be displayed when 6km/h mode is in use,
or when the pedal assistance level is 0:
• Long-press and hold the UP [
] button to start 6 km/h mode. The e-bike will start
with a speed of 6 km/h.
• Release the UP [
] button to turn off 6 km/h mode.
Odometer/Trip
The odometer/trip feature allows you to keep track of the distance travelled on this
bike. The “ODO” mode records the overall distance in kilometres, while the “TRIP”
mode can be reset, in order to record the kilometres travelled during a specific journey.
• Short press the POWER [
] button to switch between “ODO” and “TRIP”
modes.
• While in “TRIP” mode, long press the POWER [
] button and DOWN [
]
button together, in order to reset the distance measurement.
Backlit display
This function will make the display easier to see.
• Long press the DOWN [
] button to switch to a backlit display.
NOTE:
Sometimes, the display may show an error message (such as E08 or ERR-08),
in response to a fault. See page 25 for more information on what these messages
mean, and how best to fix them.
