Step 1: Assembling the Front Wheel
1. Turn the fork plate (Fig. 2) until it points to the front of the bicycle.
2. Remove the 15 mm axle (Fig. 3) from the fork, unscrewing it (using the largest
(M6) allen key in the multipurpose tool) until it slides out (Fig. 8).
3. Carefully turning the bicycle upside down at this point should make the following
steps easier. Ensure the floor is even and the bike is well-balanced - if possible,
have a second person hold the bicycle in place to ensure it is stable.
4. Remove the protector (Fig. 4) from the front disc caliper.
5. Insert the wheel into the fork plate. You may flex the fork of the bike frame apart
very slightly (no more than a few millimetres) in order to more easily slide the
wheel into the fork.
6. Ensure the brake disc is in the middle of the brake caliper (Fig. 5). It is very
important that this is positioned correctly, in order for the front brake to work
properly.
