Starting operation
4.1
Before starting operation
Please check that the contents of the package are complete. Contents:

Should the above components be damaged or incomplete, please contact your supplier.
Important!
Solder baths are heated up to 610°C (1130°F). Remove any combustible
objects, fluids and gasses from the work area. The solder bath must not
be brought into contact with the skin or heat-sensitive materials. The
solder bath should be open only during the period of use. While not
being used, the solder bath should be covered by the original protective
cover and switched off. Further safety notes on using the solder baths are
contained in the corresponding operating instructions, which must be
followed in any event.
4.2
Switching on for the first time
Please read through these Operating Instructions completely before starting operation.
Procedure for starting operation:
•
Check whether the mains voltage matches the value specified on the
name plate.
•
Make sure that the power connection can support at least 16 A and is
protected by the appropriate protective devices. The unit does not have
its own load protection!
• Set mains switch to 0.
• To prevent measurement errors and damage from splashed solder, do
not place the control station too close to the solder bath.
•
Insert the connecting plug of the temperature sensor in the socket on
the front of the control station.
