Connecting Site Transmission from the Transmission
Cabinet (Alternative)
This section describes how to connect the RBS 3107 to the transmission
system on site. The external transmission cables are routed through and earth
grounded in cable glands that are mounted in cable entries in the Distribution
Frame (DF). This is necessary to comply with the Electromagnetic Compatibility
(EMC) requirements.
The cable connections depend on the transmission alternative chosen for the
specific site. For more information, see the Site Installation Documentation.
The choice of instructions to follow depends on the type of transmission to be
connected to the cabinet. The three transmission options are as follows:

Connecting transmission cables, shielded twisted pair, 100
