3.6

Installing the Internal Backup Batteries (Optional)

This section describes how to install batteries on the battery shelf inside the
RBS cabinet.

Caution!

Improper handling of batteries can result in the batteries short-circuiting, which
can result in serious injury due to high energy levels. Exercise the necessary
care when working with batteries.

3.6.1

Installing Batteries

To install the batteries, do the following:

1.

Attach the securing straps at the front and back of the battery shelf. Let the
strap buckles hang down from the front. See figure below.
