3.1
Unpacking and Checking the Material

Tip risk! This equipment has a high center of gravity without all units installed.
Secure the equipment before opening the door.
This section contains information on unpacking and checking the material.
The RBS 3107 cabinet is transported in a crate.
Note:
Maximum cabinet weight is 350 kg (excluding batteries).
1.
Examine the packaging for damage. If it has been damaged, then
immediately inform the transport company.
2.
Check that the items delivered correspond to the packing list. For more
information, see Site Installation Documentation
3.
Unpack the cabinet.
Note:
Allow the cabinet to remain on the pallet until required for
installation.
4.
Dispose of the crate in accordance with local regulations.
3.2
Positioning and Anchoring the Cabinet
Note:
Before installing the cabinet the site must be prepared for routing
cables. All external cables, such as antenna and transmission cables,
are installed from below, that is, through openings in the bottom of
the cabinet.
To attach the cabinet to the existing base frame, do the following:

The lifting device must be capable of lifting at least 400 kg.

Ensure that all packing is removed from the cabinet.
2.
Unscrew the five bolts under the upper edge of the cabinet, as shown in the
figure below, using a hexagon 6 mm bit and a ratchet wrench.
3.
Pull the cabinet roof a few centimeters towards the cabinet door, then lift it
straight up.
