Power Functions

You can customize the printer using the power functions, the auto-power off function and battery charge mode
function to save the battery power or minimize the battery deterioration.

Auto-Power Off

The printer automatically turns off once the specified time has elapsed in the idle state.

However, when the printer is in the following status, it is not considered as idle state, and the auto-power off
function is not applied.



Printer is off-line



Remaining battery amount is at S level

Battery Charge Modes

The printer has two battery charge modes and is initially set to the mode 1.

Mode 1

Suitable for battery-powered operation.

In Mode 1, battery charging is controlled so that the battery is always fully charged.

Mode 2

Suitable for the printer that is always connected to the single charger.

In Mode 2, battery charging is controlled so that the battery is about 80% charged.

The auto-power off time is selectable with the customized value. To set the customized value, see

"Software Settings" on page 47
