BOARD
The driver board has a circuit for converting the signal from the main board into six
states of analog signals and controlling the brightness and detecting the temperature.
The board is a subject of replacement as a unit in the maintenance service except the
fuses on the board shown below.

(1) Outline of function
The signals
output from the main board is once converted
into analog signals by the
digital to analog) before output to the driver
circuit for light valves.
The timing signals (which are for monitor) output from the main board is converted into
the signals for light valves (LCD) by the

The sub-brightness circuit modifies the output level of the R/G/B analog signals with
controlling the clamping circuit for analog display signals.
The temperature detection circuit is installed for overheat protection of the circuit
section. If the temperature rise of the section is more than certain degrees, the circuit
causes an interrupt to the CPU on the main board.
