The hardware of LCP is distinguished in the optical system and the electrical system.
The lower level beyond the breaking line in the Figure shows the optical system, and
the upper level shows the electrical system.

signal is provided in digital or analog from a computer through the interface
board (Analog signal should be once changed into digital signal by the main board.)
signal (digital) is once stored in the video memory on the main board then the

generates signals to drive the light valves R/G/B.
light valves R/G/B are individual panels each others. They work to shut or
transmit the lights from the light valve block.
lights transmitted through the light valves will be combined the prism and
projected through the lens unit.
