See that the pr int e r i s turn e d off , o p e n the front lid , and pus h the
friction lever bac k and th e paper bail forward. Then mov e t h e print
head by hand to the centre of the printer and feed the pape r into the
paper slot in t h e t o p of th e print e r.
When the paper w ill not g o a n y f a rth e r , turn th e p a p e r f ee d knob to
advance it . Tur n t h e knob until th e top o f th e p a p e r i s at least
3/4-inch above th e r ibbon guide . Then pu s h the paper b a il against
the paper . If t h e p a per b e come s crooked , pull th e f rictio n-release
lever forward, s tr a ight e n th e paper , a nd push the friction lev er back.
