Download configuration

Page 62

When downloading through Entis Pro, the CIU Plus must be
connected to HostPort 1.

After a successful download, all manual overwrite values in the
Ensite Pro settings database will be cleared.

Press the ‘Monitor’-button to view communication. The following
window is shown. For details see the “ Communication setup” chapter.

Press to show Kill CRC’s window. The “Kill CRCs button forces a full
download for the selected CIU.

Press the ‘INI-File’-button to generate a number of files, needed for
Entis Pro. The INI-files can only be generated after the whole
configuration is downloaded in the CIU’s.

Press the ‘Check CRC’-button to refresh the CRC status of the
highlighted CIU. This means that the overall CRC is fetched from the
CIU and compared with the stored CRC in the database.

Press the ‘Download’-button to download the settings of the
highlighted CIU. Depending on the CRC status and the Changed
status a full or a partial (= only changed settings) download will be
started.

Hot standby

In case of Hot standby proceed as follows:

•

download the Primary CIU Prime

•

download the secondary CIU Prime

•

download the Primary CIU Plus

•

download the Secondary CIU Plus
