1. Plug in the consumer and switch on.
The lamp
(see Fig. 5-4-(1))
and the position of the circuit
breaker indicates the result:

If an insulation fault exists and the unit was previously
OK when tested without a consumer connected up to it
(see above), then the insulation fault has been caused by
the consumer.
2. The reset button must be pressed after switching off and
disconnecting the consumer
(see Fig. 5-4-(2))
and the circuit
breaker must be turned to Pos. 1 so that the unit can be
used again.
