Operation
Starting the generator

Start the engine as follows:

1. Pull on the manually-operated choke
(Fig. 4-1-(2
))
(completely for a cold engine / appropriately less for a
warm engine) and hold firmly.
2. Turn the START-STOP switch
(Fig. 4-1-(1))
completely into
the position "START“ until the engine starts and then
release.
The engine starts.
Only activate the starter briefly (max. 5-10 seconds). Never
start or run the engine with the battery disconnected.
3. Bring the choke
(Fig. 4-1-(2))
into the basic position again.
The engine has started.
The electrical consumers can be connected and/or hooked
up after a warming-up phase of about one minute.
