Connecting the sample lines to the measuring devices
For the connection of the filtrate lines please refer to the following figures.
Filtrate line from the filter elements
If the filtrate pipe to the filter elements has not already been connected in the factory, proceed as
follows:
1.
Slide the filtrate hoses protruding from the filtrate pipe (one to four, depending on version) and
the feed line of the heater cables through the Pg hose gland (
11, pos. 8). Slide the spiral
hose far enough into the Pg hose gland that it is flush inside and then tighten the Pg hose gland.
2.
Cut the filtrate hoses such that you can insert them comfortably into the Y fitting plug-in
connectors (pos. 10).
Sample line to the measuring devices
The sample line to the measuring devices consists of a spiral jacket hose, a thin filtrate hose and,
depending on scope of order, an electric band heater.
In the spiral jacket hose are:
• PTFE hose 1.5/3 mm / 0.06/0.12 inch (standard)
• PE hose 2/4 mm / 0.08/0.16 inch (reserve).
"
Caution!
Lay hose lines such that they are protected against frost, where possible in underground cable ducts.
Make sure that you do not overstretch the hose.
