6.3 Device configuration
When connecting the ASP Inline sampler assembly to the ASP Station 2000 stationary sampler,
please read the ’ASP Station 2000’ Operating Instructions about configuring the sampling
programme (
BA080r09 ) - chapter 6.3 to 6.6.
When connecting the ASP Inline sampler assembly to other control units, read the relevant chapter
of the corresponding operating instructions about configuring the sampling programme.
6.4 User-specific applications
For the ASP Inline assembly configuration, enter the following settings in the control unit of the ASP
Station 2000 stationary sampler (see
BA080r09 ). Select the options TIME and SHOT-VOL. under
SETUP

6.4.1 Pre-Shots
The Pre-Shots function can be configured for every standard device.
SETUP -> BASIC SETTINGS -> Sampling -> Pre-Shots -> (None, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

Note!
For the correct operation of the Pre-Shot function, the ASP Station 2000 has to have a rinsing point
with a drain for the tap.
Prior to every sampling, a configurable number of samples ("shots") are rejected. The tap of the ASP
Station 2000 empties the corresponding number of shots into the drain of the rinsing point prior to
every sampling. The tap then returns to the defined sample bottle for sampling.
By pre-rinsing, any dead volume at the process connection of the assembly can be reduced.

6.4.2 Rinsing
The ASP Inline sampler assembly is optionally available with a rinse function with industrial water.
From the ASP Station 2000 with SW version LDB64XA (or higher e.g. LDB65XA), the rinse
Time Entry for the switch time between filling the sample chamber and draining the sample.
Shot-Vol. Setting for the sample volume, which is taken per sampling (shot) (Settable value: 5 to max.
50 ml).
