TAKING MEASUREMENTS
Sensor Cable of EDI-53ST consists of 6-core cable with 6-pin Lemo-plug on one end & 7-pin circular
connector on other end of the cable. Fig. 1 shows how the EAN-70 tilt sensor is connected to the EDI-
53ST indicator using the supplied sensor cable.

PREPARING SETUP DATA
To measure the tilt meter output with EDI-53, ST at least one channel has to be setup using
calibration coefficients as described below. This channel can then be used to measure the output from
any EAN-30 tilt meter.

Ch No.
Enter the channel number (i.e. transducer number) that you want to
assign to the portable tilt meter for taking readings. As the same
portable tilt meter will be used for taking measurements from
different tilt plates, only a single channel needs to be configured.

Press Key ‘9’ when prompted for units values to select ‘blank’.
