5.3 CONNECTION OF THE TRANSMISSION TO THE POWER UNIT
The device is designed to quickly and securely engage the transmission, thus making it more
manageable and easy to put into use.
CONNECTION PROCEDURE:
1- Connect the flexible shaft of the transmission to the square connector of the motor bar.
2- Screw completely the transmission to the bar connection by hand (left threaded).
CONNECTION POSSIBILITIES:
- Transmission length:
VIB-BAR: 0,5m. (TBP 0,5M)
- Diameter of the poker:
Poker ABP Ø 38mm.
5.4 INSPECTION
1. Before starting work, the correct operation of all handling and safety devices must be checked.
2. Regularly inspect the condition of the transmission. When the hose breaks repair or replace it to
avoid further damage to the flexible shaft or to the vibrating poker.
3. When worn parts are found, replace them to avoid further damage.
4. When defects are found that put in risk a safe handling, the work must be suspended and the
corresponding maintenance carried out.
6 DIMENSIONS OF WEAR FOR DIAMETERS AND

Replace the tube when it reaches the minimum diameter.

7 MAINTENANCE
7.1 FLEXIBLE SHAFT AND POKERS

To do the maintenance works in the transmission and poker, firstly disconnect the motor.
2.
In all maintenance operations, original parts must be used.
3.
Lubricate the shaft every 100 working hours.
4.
A way to lubricate the shaft is to grasp some grease in the palm of the hand and run the close
hand with the lubricant over the length of the shaft, leaving on the shaft a light coating of the
lubricant on the entire length of the shaft, The recommended quantity is 20 g per metre. After
re-lubricating and/or in new transmissions, connect the transmission to the motor and keep it
working without load for 2 minutes to allow running it in. Do not overlubricate, it could cause the
