8.1 ON/OFF Status of Heat Pump:
Activation of the ON/OFF control of the HP present on the SMART-MT and on
the CRONO-TH, is subject to closing of the “Remote On/Off” external contact
(clamps 7-8 of the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK).
With open contact
By powering the heat pump electrically, the word "OFF" appears on the
SMART-MT display and the heat pump cannot yet be turned on.
In this state only the "Antifreeze protection" function is active.
8. OPERATING LOGISTIC
8.2 Circulators activation
Circulator on HP (PUMP 1)
Activation of Pump1 gives consent to the start-up of the compressor. The
Pump1 is activated automatically by the SMART-MT in the following
cases:
1) Domestic hot water (DHW) production request
2) Request CRONO-TH (if installed) for ambient temperature not satisfied.
When switching from DHW to air-conditioning and vice-versa, there is
a delay time on the start of Pump1 (parameter 130) to allow the
opening / closing of the 3-way valve.
Pump1 can also be activated by closing the terminals E-J of the PCB
terminal Block
With closed contact
Instead of the word "OFF", the time of the clock or temperature of the sup-
ply is displayed. It is possible to switch the PdC on / off by pressing the
set button of the SMART-MT or by pressing the button of the CRONO-TH.
NOTE:
• Following a shutdown of the MIRAI-SMI, for opening the external
"Remote On / Off" contact or for lack of electrical power, the state of
previously memorized in the SMART-MT is restored upon the next
restart.
• The advice when starting the compressor is only if the water circulator
(Pump 1) is active, see chap. 8.2.
Heat pump (HP) ON/OFF TIMER:
Once the heat pump has been switched on, its start-up and switch-off can
be automatically set, through the On/Off timer available in the SMARTTH.
This function is enabled by setting the
100=On
parameter inside the
HP
label menu
It is possible to associate four different profiles of On/Off timer to each
weekday, in particular:
- Profile 1: Four time bands, two On and two Off
- Profile 2: Two time bands, one On and one Off
- Profile 3: Single time band always On
- Profile 4: Single time band always Off
Setting of the time bands of profiles 1 and 2 happens inside the P1 and
P2
label menus.
The association of the various profiles to each weekday happens inside
the dAYS label menu.
NOTE:
If the On/Off timer is active and the set key is pressed for a long time, the
heat pump on SMART-MT or CRONO-TH switches off, in both On and Off
time bands. By then pressing the set key for a long time again, the On/Off
timer is reactivated. Therefore, in the On time band the HP switches on and
in the Off band it remains off until change over to On band.riattivato il timer

NOTE
If Pump1 is activated by closing clamps E and J, it remains active
even if the MIRAI-SMI is switched off via the external "Remote On /
Off" contact.
