3. Controls
3.1 Controller setup
3.1.1 The controller
Hovermap-Zoe uses the Frsky X10S controller. When operating with Hovermap, many of the controls of
the Zoe are disabled. Only the flight mode switch and the control sticks are enabled for Hovermap
operation.
The controller is programmed to use Mode 2 for the sticks. If you prefer a different control mode,
please contact Customer Success

for information on how to set up this configuration.
The controller allows you to monitor the battery voltage of the drone. A vibration and alarm on the
controller are set if the value drops to 21.5 V or lower.
3.1.2 Tablet mount
The controller comes with a tablet mount, which is capable of fitting the Samsung tablet to the
controller. It is attached easily with a mounting arm. Make sure that it is attached firmly before use.
3.1.3 Using the controller
Use the controller as follows:
Turn on the transmitter before turning on the Zoe.
Make sure that the landing gear is in closing/locking mode.
Power on the system.
Charge the transmitter when the voltage is lower than 13.5 V on the home display.
Warning
Don’t point the antenna directly at the drone, as it has a blind spot.

