Connect to serial ports

The 370XA has two serial ports on the back plane that can be
individually configured for RS-232 or RS-485 mode using the local
operator interface or MON2020. The cables for the serial
communications should be individually shielded pairs with the shield
connected to a clean electrical earth at one end only.
