9.7 Motorcycle storage
In case of long-term immobilisation of the vehicle, it is important to
apply additional measures.
It is thus necessary to:
- Clean the motorcycle correctly ( 9.6),
- Raise the motorcycle with an adjustable base (allows the
suspension of the vehicle to be relieved) (
12.1),
- Immobilize the vehicle in a dry place, at a temperature
between 10°C and 25°C, not subject to excessive
temperature variation and protected from UV radiation,
- Cover the motorcycle with a breathable cover or cover.
For storing the motorcycle, it is important to follow a strict procedure
for storing the battery.
For battery storage longer than one month
Store the battery at the level shown in the picture below.
Place the battery pack in an environment not exposed to direct
sunlight at temperatures below 25 ° C.
Recharge the battery every month if not in use.
Note: There is no special precaution to be taken to restart the
motorcycle.
The battery level should be checked monthly, recharge the
battery if necessary with the supplied charger.
If the motorcycle does not start after the storage period, do
not attempt to recharge the battery and contact Electric Motion
Customer Service immediately.
