Installation Manual

1. Use an Allen Wrench to remove the 4 screws of the auto-transformer
and remove the cover.

2. Use a cap removal tool to remove the waterproof cover.

3.3.4. AUTO-TRANSFORMER CONNECTIONS

The maximum AC current is 40A. Use 90°C wire rated, and gauge size
per code, for 40 A copper.

Installing System / Auto-Transformer

3. For the NTC auto-transformer connection to the inverter use the
pre-made cable shipped with the inverter. If a longer NTC connection
is needed, use 22 AWG or 24 AWG, 600 V insulated wire. One end of
the NTC cable is connected to the inverter with the 2-pin terminal and
the other end is connected to the auto-transformer spring connectors
marked "NTC".
