Display brightness – menu Contrast
You have the option to adjust the display brightness. By default the value is set to medium
brightness corresponding to 10.
By using the buttons
▲
and
▼
you can select a suitable display brightness for the room
where its indications shall be read at ease. You can save elected settings and exit the setup
menu by pressing the button F.
There are more options for settings of the electronic block - start in operating mode Delayed start, the
beginning and end of the operating regime Scheduled heating. These settings are explained in the description of
corresponding operating modes.
Standard operating mode
You can access this mode at the initial startup of the water heater by switching it in the mains. You can exit
(switching off the water heater) or access this mode (switching on the water heater ) by pressing ON/OFF.
Operating mode Smart control
You can access this mode of operation when the water heater is in the Heat operating
mode with a single short press on button F.
In this mode heating is controlled by a specially developed energy-saving algorithm.
Thanks to it you will enjoy the convenience of having hot water when you need it and pay
the lowest possible price for it. We recommend that you use this mode when your daily hot
water consumption is more than the capacity of your water heater. Then heating the water only at night shall not be
enough and you shall have to keep the unit on standby. In operation mode Smart control the unit shall monitor your
need for hot water and shall not heat excess water when you do not need it. It shall also try to maximize nighttime
electricity. In order to work efficiently in this mode, the water heater must be switched on at least 2 days
continuously without being switched to one other mode.
In this mode the set temperature is not used because the thermostat is set to select to what temperature to heat the
water and when. This is the reason why pressing buttons

▼
shall not change the temperature.
When you first turn on the device or if it has not been used for long time, it is recommended to switch it first in mode
Heating in order to achieve the temperature set and then switch it to mode Smart control.
In case of too small power consumption during the day, the water heater shall pass in Reduced power mode and the
wording Smart control on the display shall change to Low power. The unit shall come out automatically from this
state at next switch on of the water heater or if you change modes by pressing the button F to initiate again Smart
control mode.
When using Smart control mode the water temperature is maintained lower during daylight time in order to avoid
unnecessary losses of heat. If certain days you need to use more hot water, you may temporarily use the mode
Heating set to a higher temperature. When you do not have this need, you can switch back to Smart control. During
such switches in and out it is possible to experience setbacks in energy efficiency.
Operating mode Scheduled heating
This operation mode allows unit daily switch on and operation during one or two pre-selected periods of time. When
switching into this mode, the water heater shall be switched on only if the current time is within the range of one of
the scheduled periods and the water temperature is below the temperature set. This mode can be used if you need
hot water only mornings and evenings and all the hot water runs out in the morning. Then you can set one period in
the time interval at night and the other before you need water during the day. The interval in which the water heater
will operate must be consistent with the its ability to reach the temperature set for the allocated time.
You can access this mode of operation from mode Smart control with a single short press of the button F.
The display shows factory-set temperature and time to switch on the water heater.
