2) Enter the cashier number to be corrected

4) You can print all cashier records by press-

( Check ) or you can print out the
values for the current cashier by pressing

5) Exit the corrections of cashiers by pressing

Printing of cashiers
To check the programmed names and texts,
press the
C
( Check ) button in the text pro-
gramming mode. If in the programming mode,
press the
KJ
( Password ) button first and
then the
C
( Check ) button. Print the par-
ticular programmed value of a cashier by press-
ing the
H
( EAN ) button.
Function text programming
The Euro-500TE Handy ECR allows program-
ming of the names of basic operations that can
be listed on the receipt. Table 3.17 provides the
default settings that can be re-programmed as
needed.
Function text programming procedure:
1) Switch the cash register into the “P” mode
by pressing

2) Press the
G
( Void ) button. The display
shows text number in the first line and its
programmed text in the second one.
3) Enter the new text containing up to 24
characters. If you make a mistake, use the
F
( Clear ) key to correct it. Details on
the entering of texts are contained at the
end of this chapter.
4) Press the
D
( Subtotal ) button. The
ECR is now ready to program another
function textcontinue with step 3. Finish
function text programming by pressing the
E
( Total ) button.
Correction of function texts
1) Switch the cash register into the “P” mode
by pressing

gramming function texts (see above).
4) You can print all the programmed texts by

( Check ) button. Print the value of a
particular programmed text by pressing the

( EAN ) button.
