Pellet burner GP xx sc 35
Figure 6.20. Self-cleaning mechanism of a pellet burner from series „GP xx sc”.
The automatic cleaning of the pellet burner is performed through a designed algorithm. It
activates when:
The burner has been started, after final combustion;
The burner has been stopped, including when the assigned circulations water
temperature has been reached;
The burner is normally operating, after defined intervals of time.
The adjustment of the automatic cleaning system of a pellet burner from series
“GP xx sc” must be performed by a certified staff.
The parameters: time between two cleaning procedures (
“Max comb. Time”
), number of
cleanings (
“Iterations”
) and other parameters, can be found in
”Advanced menu”
(the
access is password protected). Example for typical settings:
Time between two cleanings (
“Max comb. Time”
) - 4 hours;
Number of cleanings (
“Iterations”
) - 2.
These settings should be changed when using fuels with higher ash content – the time
between two cleanings should be decreased.
6.10. USER INTRODUCTION WITH THE MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS
PROCEDURES OF A PELLET BURNER FROM SERIES „GP XX SC”.
The users must read in details the presented manual book for operation of the burner, as
well as how it operates the methods for adjustment of its heating output level and with the
methodic for maintenance.
It is necessary to clean the flexible connection tube from the dust separated by the fuel,
because when the auger transports fuel the dust from it gathers in the flexible pipe. As a
result the fuel feeding could be troubled and also the dust might fire in case of emergency
situation, in which the hot flue gasses are passing through the flexible tube.
