After putting the compressor with a drier M1a to operation (after installation or several-day break) the
regeneration of the drier may be started. The compressor is put into operation automatically also without
pressure air take-off by the appliance, and thus increase pressure in the air jet into cut-off pressure when it
turns off. Then the dryer regeneration takes place (passing of the air from air jet through dryer chamber). The
air jet pressure decreases to closing pressure, the compressor turns on and increases pressure into air jet to
cut-off pressure and turns off. The process of turning on and off of the compressor repeats in this way until
the dryer is not regenerated sufficiently. This level is controlled in the dryer through the built-in humidity
monitor – hygrostat. The regeneration process can take several minutes (5 – 15 min) – for the new or
previously already regenerated dryer during the previous operation, or several tens of minutes (30 – 120
min) – for the dryer being previously in its operation „overloaded“ with water vapour (for example due to the
activity regime of the compressor outside the permitted extent, during the work in the environment with high
relative humidity, etc.). After finishing regeneration the whole process is stopped automatically.

The mentioned values of the regeneration times are
valid for compressor activity regime at closed outlet
valve, which means without pressure air take-off by
the appliance. In case of air take-off the mentioned
times are prolonged.
In the case the compressor does not terminate the
automatic regeneration of a drier within 120 min, it
shall be necessary to turn to your supplier or
servicing centre
.
The table states the time of regeneration cycle of the
compressor with a drier M1a (under the condition that no
air is taken from the compressor by an appliance)
and size of regeneration nozzle.

In case of deviation from described activity please verify:
Connection of the solenoid valve – compare arrow orientation on the valve body, which also marks correct
air flow direction when regenerating
Possible leakage via compressor untightness – close the outlet valve on the compressor, turn on the
compressor and leave it in operation until it turns off at cut-off pressure. Turn off the circuit breaker
and watch pressure on manometer, which means the pressure in air jet. The pressure decrease can not be
bigger than 0.2 bar in 2 hours.
The use of the correct jet – a jet is mounted between solenoid valve and opening (see Table 1). When
assembling it is important to keep jet orientation – aim the surface with a screwed cone at the valve.
