With the lid closed, hot food will keep warm for a
long time even after the heating function has been
switched off.
6. Ventilation
WARNING!
Never block the air inflow!
Your appliance must always have an adequate flow
of air in order to dissipate excess heat.
Never keep the appliance in a closed car or in the
boot of the car. If the temperature in the car, the car
boot or similar location should exceed 65° C, the air
will expand inside the rigid foam polyurethane
insulation material and deform the inner and outer
casing. This will not normally result in any
impairment in the performance of the cooling and
heating box, but the deformation in the casing will
be permanent.
This will not provide the basis for any warranty
claims!
7. Care and maintenance
It is best to use washing-up liquid to clean the
cooling and heating box. Do not use any aggressive
cleaners or solvents. If the box is not used for any
lengthy period of time it should be cleaned and the
container wiped dry. If you do not intend to use the
cooling and heating box for any lengthy period it
should be stored in a dry place with the lid open to
prevent fungus from developing inside.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1
The fan blade visible from outside does not
rotate and the cooling and heating box does not
work.
Check the voltage at the cigarette lighter jack.
Switch on the ignition if required.
Remove burnt-on tobacco from the cigarette
lighter jack using a non-metallic brush or
solvent. The middle contact must be clean.
Check the assembly of the connector and the
connector fuse.
Check the car fuse for the cigarette lighter jack.
8.2
The fan blade visible from outside does not
rotate and the cooling and heating box does not
work satisfactorily.
The fan motor is probably defective. Please
send the cooling and heating box to ISC GmbH
for repair.
8.3
The cooling and heating box does not cool/heat.
The fan blade rotates.
The Peltier element is probably defective. Please
send the cooling and heating box to ISC GmbH
for repair.
9. Disposal
The appliance, accessories and packaging should
be taken for environmentally responsible recycling
when disposed of. For proper recycling by material
type, all plastic parts are marked.
