1. Safety rules
Please note that the improper use of electrical
appliances can give rise to dangers of which
children may not be aware.
Never open the appliance. Repairs should only
be carried out by an expert.
Keep the appliance away from damp and wet
conditions at all times.
Check the lead and the appliance for any
damage before use.
Do not stand on any hot surfaces or in the sun.
Do not keep or use in a closed car without
ventilation or in the boot of a car.
Never connect the appliance directly to 230 V.
Never allow the air inlet to be blocked.
Never fill the cooling box with any type of liquid.
CAUTION!
The inside of the cooling box will get
hot when you use the heating function.
Always switch off when not in use.

5. Operation
You can connect your cooling and heating box to
any 12 V= cigarette lighter jack (e.g. car, boat,
EINHELL power station. The cooling and heating
box can be used for cooling and heating. To do this,
first take the adapter lead (3) out of the adapter lead
storage compartment (4). To switch between
functions you have to turn the connector on the
cooling and heating box. The LEDs (5) will indicate
which mode you are in.
CAUTION!
Never use the cooling and heating box
with the motor running.
5.1 Cooling function
Turn the connector on the adapter lead (3) so that
the black side faces upwards. The green LED (5) will
illuminate.
For optimum performance, the food and drinks you
place in the cooling box should be already cooled.
They will stay cold for as long as the cooling box is
switched on.
5.2 Heating function
Turn the connector on the adapter lead (3) so that
the red side faces upwards.
The red LED (5) will illuminate.
Please note that the heating box is designed
primarily for keeping food hot. If the heating function
is used for longer periods, cold food will also be
heated up.
