Backfeed protection

On the customer side an additional external insulation device (magnetic contac-
tor, minimum shunt release) must be provided, see Fig. 6-3. This insulation de-
vice must be designed to conduct the input voltage of the UPS (see the corre-
sponding table in the general UPS operating manuals).

The insulation device must be installed in the UPS input line.
