If digital input 2 is on level L, output is connected. Even if the digital input is
set on OFF.
LEAKAGE (

When the leakage sensor is activated, the output is connected. But only

ERROR (
ERR

The output is connected in case of an error occurrence (it is not connected
in case of a warning). Terms ERROR and WARNING are explained in
chapter

.
In case that detector is not in ABS mode and digital output is controlled by threshold values A and B, then
digital output is always disconnected.
Example:
Threshold value A is set at 0.1 AU and digital output at ABOVE A. If absorbance signal is
lower than 0.1 AU, then digital output is disconnected. If the value is higher, digital output is connected. Such
connection of output signal can be used for example for simple fraction collection.
Diagnostics of actual status of INTERFACE can be performed in
Menu/Diagnostics/Interface
.
For digital inputs value of OPEN (H) means opened input, high level and CLOSE (L) means closed
input, low level. Regarding digital output is displayed OFF for open switch and ON for closed
switch.
6.4.4. Analog Output
Analogue output of detector is placed on rear panel and labeled as ANALOG OUTPUT. For
connecting equipment to analogue output is intended cable from the accessories, equipped with
3 pin terminal block.
A
NALOGUE OUTPUT SPECIFICATION
Pin Abbr. Description
On cable
1
AGND Analogue ground. Internally connected with unit chassis.
Low black
2
AOUT Analogue output signal (+).
Hi red
3
AGND Analogue ground. Internally connected with unit chassis.
Shielded conductor.
The cable is connected to output device (recorder, A/D converter) in a way that red
conductor labeled Hi is connected to device input, usually marked as Hi, + and black conductor
labeled Low is connected to input usually marked as Lo, -, GND. If the output device has only two
inputs, then shielded conductor is connected with black conductor, labeled Low. If the output
device has three inputs, shielded conductor is connected to input usually labeled SHIELD. If there
is different disturbing potential on both devices, disconnect shielded conductor from the detector
and connect it only on the output device.
Analogue output setting is performed in
Menu/IO config/Analog output
. Output range (default
value is 1 V) can be set in menu item RATIO and in item RANGE.
