If an OGM Plus is connected, when the metering controller function is activated, the dosage
quantity measured by the OGM is compared with a pre-defined dosage quantity target
value.
If there is a discrepancy between the values, the metering frequency of the pump is
automatically increased or decreased.
Since metering frequency can only be adjusted within the performance limitations of the
pump, setting the dosage quantities higher than 80 % or 90 % of the maximum possible
metering frequency is not recommended.
This will ensure that the metering controller retains sufficient reserves to react to negative
control deviations.
The metering controller function can only be used in the 'internal' and 'current' operating
modes. If the operating mode 'pulse' is selected, the metering controller function will not
work.
NOTICE!
The metering controller function can only be activated if the pump is upgraded
with a Dongle Box to the E60
PLUS and oval gear meter , type OGM Plus (see
Accessories) is connected. To activate the Dongle-Box in connection with the
oval gear meter, the power supply has to be switched off and on again!
