Function of UA 410 L

CI 4x00: All 10 temperature sensors are supported in system centres.
CI 3x00: Whether the version in use supports this function can be checked in the System Centre / Store Com­
puter User Guide. Store Computers of all versions are always capable of archiving two temperatures.
With all, the recording interval is 15 minutes and data is archived for a period of one year.
Temperature sensors of type L243 must be connected to the UA 410 L for temperature recording in
compliance with EU Regulation DIN EN 12830! Actual temperature control must always be per­
formed by an
independent case/coldroom controller, e.g. UA 400.
Conditions to be fulfilled:
1. The UA 410 L must be integrated together with a system centre / store computer in the
E*LDS CAN bus system.
2. UA 410 L must not be used simultaneously for controlling the same refrigeration points.
3. UA 410 L
must have temperature sensors of its own.
DIN EN 12830 requires regular testing in accordance with DIN EN 13486 for temperature measuring
recorders when they are in operation. See Section 9 Specifications for details of usability of the
UA 410 L in accordance with DIN EN 12830.
The data of the case controller and of the temperature recording controller UA 410 L are archived in the system
centre / store computer. Operating status of the case/coldroom controller (defrost, cooling, manual shutdown,
etc.) is combined with the temperature data recorded by the temperature-recording controller.
Parameters
The to parameters EU Archive CAN und EU Archive Zone on the Temperature Data Logging Controller are
used to allocate each sensor to case/coldroom controller. If the parameter EU-Archiv CAN is set to “--”, no ar­
chiving of the temperature values recorded by the temperature recording controller is performed in the system
centre / store computer.
Recording of controller temperatures no longer complies with the EU Regulation when the EU Ar­
chive CAN parameter is set to”-”!
Differentiation is made between two operating modes:
Archiving sensors of UA 410 L Archiving sensors of external case controller
(complies with DIN EN 12830)
If the parameter EU-Archiv CAN in the temperature re­
cording controller is set to its own CAN address, the tempe­
ratures and statuses of the controller are recorded in the
system centre / store computer.
The EU Archive Zone parameter defines the zone of the
sensor recorded by the Temperature Data Logging
Controller.
If the parameter EU-Archiv CAN is set to the CAN address
of another case controller (UA 400 / UA 400 E), then its sta­
tuses are recorded together with the temperature of the
UA 410 L.
The EU Archive Zone parameter defines the zone of the
UA 400 / UA 410 E controller, for which the sensors recor­
ded by the UA 410 L is used.
