Important!
Boiled over foods,
melted remains
and stains from
sweet, hot liquids.
Remove as soon as possible using spatula
or scraper suitable for ceramic surfaces, but
beware of hot cooking zones:
Turn off the power of the hob.
Hold the tool under a 30° angle and scrape
the dirt to a cold area of the ceramic hob.
Here you can remove the dirt using a sponge
or a paper towel.
Perform the above described procedure
during everyday cleaning.
Remove the residue of sweet foods as soon
as possible. If you leave it to cool down
on the surface, its removal could become
diffi
cult and it even could permanently
damage the ceramic surface.
When handling sharp objects be careful and
keep them away from children.
Foods spilled on
control elements
Turn off the power of the ceramic hob.
Use a sponge to absorb spilled liquid.
Wipe the control panel with wet cloth.
Dry the area completely using a paper towel.
Turn the ceramic hob on again.
If you spill liquid on the control panel, the
hob can shutdown while sounding a beep
and the control elements might not work.
Before turning the hob on again do not
forget to wipe the control panel dry.
ADVICE AND TIPS

Possible cause
What to do
Cannot switch on the hob.
No power.
Make sure that the ceramic hob is
connected to the power supply and that
it is on. Check, if there is not a power
failure. If you checked everything
and the problems persist, contact an
authorized service centre.
Does not react to touch
controls
Locked control elements.
Unlock controls. See the section
“Appliance controls”.
Poor response to controls.
There is a thin water layer on the
control panel, or you do not touch the
buttons with fi nger pad, but with the
fi ngertip only.
Make sure that the control panel is dry
and touch the controls with the whole
fi nger pad.
The surface of the hob is
scratched
Dishes with sharp edges.
Using abrasive powders or scouring
sponge.
Use dishes with fl at and smooth
bottoms. See the section “Cleaning and
maintenance”.
Some of the dishes make
cracking or clicking sounds
This could be caused by the structure
of the dishes (diff erently vibrating
layers of various metals).
This is a normal characteristic of the
given dishes, it is not a malfunction.
The induction hob emits at
a high temperature level
a deep humming sound
This is cased by the technology of
induction heating.
This eff ect is normal and should grow
quieter or completely disappear upon
reduction of the power level.
Fan noise within the
induction hob
The fan turned on to prevent
overheating of the electronics of the
induction hob. The fan can continue
working even after the hob is turned
off .
This is normal and it does not require
your attention. When the fan is working
do not disconnect the induction hob
from the power supply.
