b)
Weight: Complete appliance = 500kg; The Eco Stove must be installed onto a structural hearth
capable of bearing this weight.
c)
Air Supply
–
UK 24.2 cm sq.: required within UK (Refer to ADJ2010)
outside UK to those countries local requirements.
Vents to be fitted to outside and positioned such that they are not liable to block. Additional
ventilation requirement may be needed if the stove is operated simultaneously with other
heating appliances. It is important to ensure adequate supply of combustion and ventilation air.
d)
Extractor fans: No extractor fans are to be fitted in the same room as the Eco Stove.
e)
Fire draught: Minimum cold flue draught to be .04 inches water gauge
f)
Flue gas mass flow: 9.1 gs
g)
Flue gas temperature: Average 137°C at nominal output.
h)
Flue outlet: 150mm top exit (Dampers may be necessary if the flue draught is in excess of 0.4”
water gauge). This pipe must include a soot door / access plate within 200 mm of the stoves
top.
i)
Heat energy stored 75.2mj
j)
Co-concentration at 13% oxygen = 0.07%. Excessive flue draught may remove too much heat
from the Eco Stove on slow combustion. A damper may be fitted into the flue pipe off the stove
to reduce draught but only closed after the firing process is completed
–
dampers must always
allow 20% of the flue area unclosed.

DUCTED WARM AIR (MODEL 678EC)
By fitting the hot box with one extra trim between it and the stoves top, up to
four 100mm diameter rigid pipes can be fitted off the stoves top to other rooms.
These pipes simply push into the openings in the top of the hot box.
Grilles with spigots are available separately along with rigid 100 mm pipes and
100mm alloy flexible tubing (none of which are included as standard). Maximum
duct length per output is 1.5 metres. Each duct must rise constantly to its point
of emission into the adjacent room (or the same room the Ecco Stove stands in)
with a mini
mum angle of 45⁰ for natural convection.
