Bank Select and Channel Assign

8.2.2.4

Trim

The

TRIM

Channel Assign button allows for individual channel control of the ±15 dB

digital trim. The digital trim control is located ahead of all of the channel digital signal

processing. All inputs have a digital trim control. The V-Pot adjusts the gain while press-

ing the ASSIGN button has no function. The scribble strip displays the channel name on

the top line until the V-Pot knob is rotated; then it briefly displays the digital trim gain.

The bottom line of the scribble strip displays the word

trim

. The V-Pot LEDs indicate the

digital trim amount and the bottom LED indicates when the knob has been set at 0 dB.

Holding

CTRL

 and pressing the

TRIM

Channel Assign button resets the digital trim on

all channels to 0 dB.

8.2.2.5

HPF Button

The light blue

HPF

Channel Assign button allows for individual channel activation and

control of the High Pass Filter. The High Pass Filter is part of the equalizer and has a

frequency range of 20 Hz-400 Hz. It is available on all input and output channels except

for the main Left, Right, Center/Mono and the internal effects returns.

The V-Pot knob adjusts the HPF frequency while pressing the

ASSIGN

 button acts as the

filter’s In/Out button. The scribble strip displays the channel name on the top line until

the V-Pot knob is rotated; then it briefly displays the HPF frequency. The bottom line of

the scribble strip displays the word HPF.  The V-Pot LEDs indicate the relative frequency

setting.

The V-Pot button toggles through the slope values. The first push interrogates the set-

ting and displays it on the scribble strip. Subsequent pushes step through the different

slope values (6, 12, 18, 24 dB/oct).

Holding

CTRL

 and pressing the

HPF

Channel Assign button disables the HPF and sets

the frequency to the default of 80 Hz with a 12 dB/octave slope on all channels.

8.2.2.6

LPF Button

The light blue

LPF

Channel Assign button allows for individual channel activation and

control of the low-pass filter. The low-pass filter is part of the equalizer and has a fre-

quency range of 400 Hz-20 kHz. It is available on all input and output channels except

for the main Left, Right, Center/Mono and the internal effects returns.

The V-Pot knob adjusts the LPF frequency while pressing the

ASSIGN

 button acts as the

filter’s In/Out button. The scribble strip displays the channel name on the top line until

the V-Pot knob is rotated; then it briefly displays the LPF frequency. The bottom line of

the scribble strip displays the word LPF. The V-Pot LEDs indicate the relative frequency

setting.

The V-Pot button toggles through the slope values. The first push interrogates the set-

ting and displays it on the scribble strip. Subsequent pushes step through the different

slope values (6, 12, 18, 24 dB/oct).

Holding

 CTRL

 and pressing the

LPF

Channel Assign button disables the LPF and sets

the frequency to the default of 20 kHz with a 12 dB/octave slope on all channels.
