5.3.3 Power supply
The device is provided with an internal self-resetting fuse and is protected against polarity reversal. The
functional earthing terminal is connected exclusively to the connector cover and not to the 0 V. The
housing is made from plastic and is isolated. The device power supply is
not electrically isolated.
The device requires a 24 VDC power supply from an AC/DC converter with safe isolation (SELV). For
other power supply requirements see Chapter 9.5.1 Power supply,
 589.5.1 Power supply,  58.

SELV (safety extra low voltage):
Circuit in which no dangerous voltage is present, even in the event of a single fault.
Wiring

Phoenix Contact MSTB 2.5/3-ST-5.08 connector, Phoenix order no. 1757022 is supplied with the
device.
