For CAN cabling in a rack with two battery strings, connect the Com IN and Com OUT cables

as in Figure 21: CAN cabling in the external battery rack with two battery strings.

c. Make sure that the small termination resistor switch is in the bottom position (resistor

connected) in the primary battery pack of the external battery rack. Make sure that the small

termination resistor switch is in the top position (resistor not connected) in the primary battery

pack in xStorage Compact.
