7.3 N+1 systems
N+1 systems reduce the space and cabling requirements
while still providing redundancy by only duplicating units
inside a single rack. Hot standby amplifiers are used to
provide redundancy on 100V line and some input units
are fully duplicated.

Sonix N+1 systems make use of Sonix AB+ feature
to provide full coverage rather than relying on crude
fail-over relays. This allows a fault in the primary 2Mx
without fully swapping over on to the secondary 2Mx.
