Start the Entry Procedure
Do this:
The display shows:
1.
Enter by the designated entry
door or route. (This usually the
last through which you leave the
premises.)
Go directly to the keypad.
The system starts the entry timer. The
keypad sounds the entry tone (an
interrupted tone).
Identify Yourself
2.
Either
key in your access code
As you key in your code the
display shows a “*” for each digit.
OR
present your proximity tag.
How Do I Know The System Is Unset?
The keypad stops the entry tone
and gives a double “beep”. The
system is unset.
The keypad display shows:
followed by:
On a part setting system, LEDs
“A” to “D” should be dark, showing
that the system is unset.
Note: The installer may have disabled
the LEDs to ensure that the
alarm system meets the
appropriate standards.
